Hi Debbie,
My daughter lives in Perry, MI, outside of Lansing, and she says the same thing about the snow...it's Michigan...I had an accident on Easter weekend one year because of the snow...it was an early Easter, and the plows had missed a spot and I hit a patch of snow at 70 mph, and slid into a ditch and did some serious damage to my car.  I will fly from now on during the Snowy Season.

Good Morning Off
Hey Debbie, Keep that snow/rain  Up your way  We want to work outside today!
Good news in our world Tues was that Steve doesn't need surgery on his Arm.  Seems as it should heal OK as long as he is careful another 3-5 weeks  and he is being very careful.    We did a lot of cleanup of winter litter where the snow is gone yesterday  hope to fini**** this weekend if the rest melts.   We hope to do some work on our motor home also while Steve is still off.   May not get our week in Georgia or the trip to Ky this year  we we can enjoy it around Michigan!   Camping is camping as long as we get to a lake!
Little Bugs is coming along well  she has been an easy one to help.  No sexual abuse makes things easier.
Prayers going up from our house to all Off friends  who want or need them.   I don't remember all the names or problems  but the Man Upstairs does.  Have a great day everyone.

Hi Jo,
Okay, the snow and rain are staying right here in Kalamazoo where I'm working!
Glad Steve doesn't need surgery, just make sure he is careful, it's amazing how we use our arms and shoulders.

I love camping too...can't wait til Spring, hubby has been working on our camper trailer. Now if only the gas prices will stay under 5.00!!!!!!!!!

hi!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Hi Not much going on here in Bradenton. We had a bad thunderstorm around 7am this mornin.
Daughter called and told me her wedding dress still hasnt shown up yet, Internet says it is still in the the processing stage. I hope it will come at the end of the month or I am calling the credit card company to credit the order. I got it from a wholesale company that was supposed to be pretty reliable but now Im not to sure. Lizzy friend got her wedding dress from there and got her dress within 3 weeks, so we shall see, It has been 8 weeks and we still havent see her dress.

Hey there.  The boss wanted me to take the morning off and stay later so I can actually be part of this thread before the day is over!

I'm generally a lurker, but I did promise myself that I would post on OH at least twice a month this year.  Maybe time to tell a bit of my story.

I ran away from Detroit attitudes and weather in 1981 and loved living in California.  San Jose and Stockton, would like to go back some day, good Lord willing.  I moved back to MI after taking an early retirement to keep lifetime benefits, hoping to be useful to my aging father.  He is pretty sure I came back so he could take care of me.

Started looking into wls after returning to Detroit and realizing that yes, I really was THAT big, and that no, I really didn't have any kind of life.  No husband or kids, made the decision-making easier.  Makes keeping the bad stuff out of the house easier, too, although I have no one to give me the shamey finger when I distort my portions.

More later, as wanted/needed.  Best thoughts to all, and perhaps we can give up violent weather for lent?

" Shamey finger"....LOVE it!

Nice to see you here Jane, hope you come more often than twice a month!

Tonight is our monthly support group meeting and my plastic surgeon is speaking to the group. Gotta fancy up a bit to show off his good work. Maybe I'll get a discount next time around....lol

Went to the gym last night with Gary. So nice to do something productive instead of sitting in front of the damn TV.  Landscape man has had to hold off because of the rain earlier in the week. Can't till in mud...But he promises it will be finished by the end of the month for my b'day.

Work is still painfully slow. Only two clients tomorrow and two on Saturday. AGHHHHH This is KILLING me. Oh well, such is life, huh?

Hope everyone is enjoying their day!

Susan

I, like you, appreciate that I can keep the junk out of the house without kids or a hubby, but could use the "shamey finger" now and then because of the portions as well.  I do have a dog that gives me the eyes, you know those yearning looks, like "Share with me, Mommy," so I don't eat a lot that way.

Morning Eileen and OFF family!!!

Gee Eileen I thought that if you didn't show up or call for your job that you would be either written up or fired...seems this guy gets away with it way to often!! Not right in my book either. I know how you feel about having to do all the work and not get the credit for it!! Been there done that!!!

Well yesterday I found out that Rick's little princess has me blocked on FB and now he has no way to see what she is up to. I haven't done anything to that brat and now this. I worry about her little boy though! So does Rick! But she is 20 now and knows it all....

We have a winter storm watch for heavy snow. Could see up to 12" plus by saturday. Just great!!! I don't see spring ever getting here at all!!!! Right now it is raining and flood warnings all over the surrounding areas.

Nothing much to babble about today hahaha so I will get going. Thoughts and prayers going out to all that need them... :-)

HUGS
